A lot of times, it puts people in an awkward position because their boundaries might not align with yours. I'm here to tell you: that is okay. You set boundaries simply because you respect yourself. When other people set boundaries with you, it's their attempt to continue a relationship with you, not an attempt to hurt you. Boundaries help you grow with one another and helps you prioritize your needs over other people's wants.
