Today, on Episode 8, I’m reading two excerpts from Section Eight of the book: “Confronting Racism with Irreverence and Satire.” Sometimes, when we are too exhausted to argue anymore, when people aren’t hearing our lucid and logical and factual perspectives, when we don’t know where else to turn, irreverence and satire may seem like our only options.
