Introduced to the non-profit organization Irreverent Warriors during a challenging time, Marty found a sense of belonging in their signature hikes. Passionate about helping Veterans, Marty and his wife Marissa brought the IW community and Silkies Hike to Montana, coordinating the inaugural Bozeman Silkies Hike in June 2022.With a background in martial arts, Marty overcame major injuries and restarted his life after divorce three times. Despite life's challenges, Marty remains energetic and youthful, inspiring others with his resilience. He and Marissa, founders of the IGY6 Rucking Crew, plan to grow their GORUCK club and compete in distance and obstacle course events.
