Episode 8: Don't Let Me Down

In this episode, Nick returns to the starting line-up and hits the ground running as the brothers use this episode to review their respective team's performances in game weeks 4 and 5! With Matt chuckling away in the background, Nick goes "full Warnock" and runs the riot act over his charges and lets them know, in no uncertain terms, that they let him down. Other highlights include Matt's lament about leaving Dean Henderson on the bench for game week 5 and Nick Jackson, (he is for real), giving his FPL namesake manager a welcome boost and another strong performance for Team Tok!All of this comes off the back of Matt and Nick welcoming new listeners to the pod after last week's promotion push, as well as a shout out to the established FPL content creators who have shared kind words about the show on Twitter, sorry, I mean X!Despite his apparent sympathies to FPL players, Arne Slot and Liverpool are not spared in Nick's candid analysis of the Reds post Klopp. Manchester United are also in the firing line as the younger of the siblings talks about Chelsea's fixtures going forward.We finish looking forward to game week 6 and our trip to AFC Wimbledon which, since the time of recording, has been called off due to flooding at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
