In this episode we sat down with the amazing Eve Simmons, Deputy Health Editor of the Mail on Sunday, Co-Author of ‘Eat It Anyway’ and the co-founder of NotPlantBased.com. Eve shared with us her struggles in her early 20s and how the pressure to look a certain way at work lead to a serious battle with anorexia. She explains the psychological effects of the illness, her recovery and how so much more needs to be done to prevent people from succumbing to every day triggers. After overcoming the illness, Eve has used her experiences to educate people on the importance of having a healthy relationship with food and how a lot of misinformation and diet fads is potentially eroding both our physical and mental well-being. Across her portfolio of work, Eve talks to leading dieticians and experts to debunk the pseudo science and outdated research we’re over exposed to every day. Her message is to simply fall in love with food again and eat what you like! We learned a great deal from this episode and we think you’ll get so much value from Eve’s story. Enjoy! They are passionate builders, insightful investors, laser-focused leaders. They are all curious learners in their own way. It is their urge to learn more. That urge is curiosity. When I speak to these people, I hear fascinating ideas, solid business plans, genius growth hacking practices, relentless team building focus, unique investing strategies and many others. However, most of the time, key insights, business intelligence and inspiring stories shared in these conversations do not make their way to the outside world. The Curious Learners is an attempt to share the stories of those curious learners with those, who might find the inspiration that they were looking for or those who might get the encouragement for their own journey that they already started. Looking forward to a long journey together. The Curious Creatives Various Hosts A podcast which explores the world of art & design.
