Episode #8: John Moulton (New Hampshire Master Shed Hunter)

New Hampshire native John Moulton has an impressive resume when it comes to shed hunting in the spring and taking big bucks in the fall. Spending countless hours and putting many miles on in the search for shed antlers is John's passion, having collected nearly 1,500 sheds over the years from primarily New Hampshire. John's passion for shed hunting translates into his success during the hunting season, as he locates big bucks, feeding areas, bedding areas, scrape lines, and more while out in the mountains. John shares with us some of his wisdom when it comes to finding shed antlers, where to look, what to target, and some stories of some of the deer whose shed's he has found. We also get to hear some great hunting stories from his 2021 season where he took a massive eight pointer in the New Hampshire Muzzleloader season that tipped the scales at over 200 pounds, and his impressive Maine rifle season buck that also dressed over 200. John is a great guy, hunter, and teacher to those that want to learn the art of shed hunting.
