"'Art brut,' 'outsider art,' 'abstract,' 'expressionist'- these are all labels for a newer, different way of putting ideas out there to share with others. I was born in Texas and the Southwest has a large influence on my subjects and palette. Most times they are not delicate... I like a wild and free aspect in my work and I hope you do as well. My paintings I would describe as "loner art." It just comes forth from my hand. I don't really have too much of a say in it on most occasions. Replications of any particular piece will rarely, if ever, come out looking the same. None of my art can be accused of looking like a photograph.
