Episode 8: Make love not porn - The next generation of beautiful young men are growing up completely miseducated about sex because of porn. There’s not enough open dialog about healthy sex because we live in a limited culture where sex is synonymous with shame and guilt. So these young men go to a readily available platform to discover and satisfy curiosity, not knowing it is entirely based on production and performance. This becomes their sex education and model. On this episode I share with you a Ted Talk that helped me communicate openly with my teenage son about the exaltation of sex - connection, intimacy, oneness, authenticity. Porn is entertainment, nothing more. Just as we don’t condemn Hollywood entertainment, we don’t need to condemn porn. Bringing more shame to a shame-based industry only creates more disconnection, more shadows. What we need is more consciousness around sex and exalt it to its highest form: connection to spirituality. If you have a young teenager or adult in your life, don’t miss this episode!
