Episode 8: Mind War

Join your hosts Mona Lucius and Geoffrey Sperl (@geoffreysperl) on our weekly Babylon 5 rewatch podcast! We're following the Master List on the Lurker's Guide to B5 (http://www.midwinter.com/lurk/countries/master/eplist.html), which means our eighth episode is the sixth episode of the regular series, "Mind War" (http://www.midwinter.com/lurk/countries/master/guide/006.html). Kick back as we talk about the episode, what a great casting choice Walter Koenig was for Bester, how G'Kar is completely subverting expectations (and says as much), and what we need to read into Bester's "Be seeing you, commander" statement near the end. For anyone interested in the canonical B5 novels, stories, and comics, that list can be found at https://b5books.com/babylon-5-canon-checklist/. If you're interested in The Prisoner, its Wikipedia page is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Prisoner (and the series is streaming on Pluto TV, Tubi, and Amazon Prime). The closing theme is "machine n°2" by Fashionfacts (https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Fashionfacts/Maquinas_de_la_Pampa/Fashionfacts_-_Maquinas_de_la_Pampa_-_03_machine_n2) and is licensed under an Attribution License (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
