His mother birth him and his sister Wanda at the age of 15 and 16. At 74 years young, she talks about watching Bill Bradley play high school basketball, sneaking into the Crystal City football games, raising her kids, working in the Crystal City cafeteria at the age of 16 for $1.10 an hour while her kids were attending Crystal City Elementary school, going to night school, and spending 40 years working at the Jefferson County Head Start program as a teacher and director. Bingham speaks with his sister Wanda about the pandemic, as she has had a 35-year career in the nursing field.
