Episode 8 Part 1 - Our Thoughts on Star Wars the Last Jedi (w/ Gerald Glassford)

from Topicocalypse · host Humannequin Media

Since we are the only podcast on the Internet and there aren't any others, that means that no other podcasters have disucssed Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Nope, none at all. Which clearly means that there isn't any kind of schism between fans, critics and bloggers and the movie was fantastic and free of controversy.  Just kidding. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now in theaters, and while the box office numbers have been good, the reception has been a mixed bag of nuts, creating a large divide between fans, critics and millennial bloggers. Some people think Rian Johnson hates Star Wars, and other people think he breathed new life into the Star Wars saga by turning it on its head. What do we think? That's what we'd like to find out. Don't worry, though, we won't be taking a Fox News or CNN approach to this review. Danial is less of a Star Wars fan than all of us, so we're relying heavily on him to be the objective one, and we got some email, which we will answer on the show. We're also joined by Gerald Glassford of the Pop Culture Cosmos. As always, we want to thank you for listening. If you would like to send us an email and have us answer it on the show, you can send it to [email protected] or you can follow us on Twitter and Facebook. If you're on iTunes or Apple Podcasts, we would love if you could rate and review us. Thank you so much!
