Episode 8 DESCRIPTION: After catching up with each other Luke and Josh briefly discuss dropping in at churches when you don’t have a meeting. Their conversation then turns to another important aspect of ministry: finding time to rest. Full time ministry really is full time! But God designed us to need a time of rest. However, while resting, we do not forget God or put the Bible on the shelf. Rest requires trusting God. The Magners also discuss the importance of encouraging yourself in the Lord. We live during a time that preaching messages are available worldwide at any moment. How helpful that is! Especially when preaching 3 times a week, being able to listen to others preach.
