Send us Fan MailRick Ridgeway and I have been friends for over 25 years and I have always held him in high regard.  To me he has always been "bigger than life!”  When I have had the good fortune to converse over tea and share stories, I realized that he is a humble, soft spoken, down to earth, gentle, calm, and thoughtful person.Imagine, he is the man who conquered the first American ascent of K2!  In addition, he was the first to directly traverse coast-to-coast Borneo and the first to cross on foot the 300-mile corner of Tibet, so remote no outsider had ever seen it! During his explorations, Ridgeway witnessed the degradation of the wildlands that had come to define his life.  He was determined and set out to protect the wild beauty that he fell in love with.Ridgeway authored 7 books, including Life Lived Wild.  Each of his publications are an awesome read.  Ridgeway is an initiator globally in the field of social and environmental innovation. We’ll be sharing his story when Rick first discovers his hero on the cover of National Geographic and explains what transpires over the next 20 years is truly inspiring.
