Send us Fan MailWe love it. We hate it. We even love to hate it. What would become the first of many social media platforms, Facebook literally changed the world. Being at least 13 years old with a valid email allows you to connect with anyone anywhere in the world. It’s paved the way to the new town square, where people go to participate in the marketplace of ideas. It also provides us a historical record of the cultural cringe that comes with giving every single user unearned social cred, as if every thought that enters their mind is now suddenly worthy enough to be shared on a public stage. It’s a pit of despair, mental illness on parade, a jungle of stupid, a digital playground where the emotionally underdeveloped go to play. And today, we’re going scorched earth on everything about Facebook that makes us LOL.*Added - It’s Andrew Garfield, not Gardener, Damn damn damn!Email comments and questions to [email protected].
