Episode 8 – The Name of the Wind Chapters 77-83

In this episode we talk about chapters 77-83 of The Name of the Wind. Denna get’s lit. Kvothe slays a dragon…sort of. We also declare that a span is 11 days. Though, in retrospect I’m beginning to think that it’s actually 10 days. More on that at a later time. After some teenage snuggling, Kvothe tucks Denna in and goes off to rescue the town of Trebon. Next time we will cover chapters 84-Epilouge. We’re done! Almost. Predictions: * Master Ash asks Denna to play the lyre at the wedding. And Kvothe makes a big deal out of that fact. I’m predicting that the lyre will have some significance; that it’s a hint of some kind. * Trebon is built (or the Mauthen farm anyway) on the bone of Myr Tariniel. * Denna says the name Moteth. I think that P-Roth wants us to think that this is the name of Master Ash, however I’m predicting that this is misdirection.
