from Oasis of Hope · host Oasis of Hope

This year's State of the Bible shows scripture (Bible) disengagement at its lowest in 14 years! The Word of God presents Christians with a solid ground to stand on in a time of "sinking sand" in our culture. From this year's annual state of the Bible by the American Bible Society, we see a decline in scripture engagement but see an increasing transformation for young adults- the polls from young adults states that the Bible has had a transformative effect on their lives. That is a testament to the power of transformation that comes from God's infallible Word. The scriptures are alive in its potency to change and transform people.  As followers of Christ, everything we do is through the lenses of eternity, and the Bible provides us with answers, guidance and wisdom in navigating life- from election decisions to parenting decisions.   To kick off Season 5 of Oasis of Hope Podcast, Drs. Johnson and Feyi Obamehinti answer three of your questions from election decisions to family decisions for parents. In this episode, they encourage Christians to study the Word of God for yourselves.
