Darrell Wordelmann, the face of Rooney’s Oceanfront Restaurant, loves the mental and physical challenge that the restaurant business brings.  After caring for his mother, who had Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, he received his own MS diagnosis in 2020.Darrell and his brother Bobby were blessed that, growing up, their father was around but that is not the case for all families. So nowadays, Darrell is driven to support the needs of families whose primary caregiver has been diagnosed with MS, and single-parent families in particular.In the second part of a two-part interview, Darrell talks about Single Parents With MS, a charitable organization that he set up with his family, which provides support for other families in need. He also talks about Mustaches for MS, the charity's annual fundraising gala, before we announce an exciting link-up between MS Disrupted and Single Parents With MS!Single Parents with MS, a 501(c)(3) organization, helps single parents with MS who are experiencing financial hardships.
