Episode 80: Super Mario RPG (2023)

Nicky and Eric discuss game secrets, company rivalries, and why Nintendo never made a sequel to the original Super Mario RPG. Super Mario RPG is a role-playing Mario game for the Nintendo Switch. It's a remake of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars that came out for Super Nintendo in 1996. The remake was developed by ArtePiazza and was released on November 17, 2023. The story focuses on Mario and his friends as they seek to defeat the Smithy Gang, who have crashed into their world and scattered the seven star pieces of Star Road. Press Any Button hosts Nicky (a new gamer) and Eric (a lifetime gamer) are a married couple who both love video games. For every video game they will discuss its past (history of the game, developers story, and fun facts), present (game play, game review and strategy), and future (will there be a sequel?? A movie?)  BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE… Every game also comes with a challenge presented by the host that chose the game. If the challenge is not completed then whoever failed has to do a video game rap!
