Episode 81 - Aaron Brown Interview

from Off The Podium - An Olympics Podcast · host Colin Hilding

We are back as promised with another Canadian Olympic interview for you. Today we talk to Aaron Brown, who won bronze as part of the Men's 4x100 Relay team in Rio 2016. Aaron tells us about the differences in training between running the 100 and 200 metres, as well as how precise the exchanges are in a relay. Aaron also talks about having to compete against, as well as compete with his own Team Canada teammates. Aaron competed in both London and Rio, and details some noticeable differences in the facilities and experiences in the games. We also for the first time are able to get an athletes take as Aaron tells us his feelings on the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
