Episode 81: Striving to Abiding with Amy Bennett

Amy Bennett joins me for Episode 81. If you are a podcast junkie, then you may recognize her name. She has her own podcast called Feathers: Faith In Flight where she has conversations with different people about their steps of faith. I think that Amy has a story that is probably similar to many people—a story of growing up Christian and doing all the right things yet at the end of the day left in a spiritually dry place. She talks about what happened to her when life ended up less than she dreamed. But in all seriousness, I think that my biggest takeaway was her quote that her biggest failure led to her greatest sense of acceptance. In Episode 80, I talked about failure in the recap. Sounds like God is definitely trying to speak to me about this. We can allow God to use failure to draw something beautiful on our lives. Failure allows us to see our need for Jesus.
