Mr. Hessler was a successful electrical engineer focused on Aerospace technology and managed a firm worth 120 million dollars both domestically and internationally when he was suddenly diagnosed with the debilitating disease lupus compounded with rheumatoid arthritis. After being told that he was going to die in a few months, he left his job, moved to White Cloud, Michigan and lived off the grid surrounded by 600 acres of government land. His intent was to go away and die peacefully when suddenly he encounters a shocking vision that would change his life, lead him to Christ, and ultimately give him purpose to share with the world lessons on the suffering saint. It's a fascinating story of hope through pain and suffering and the development of The Lupus Project.
