Episode 82 - flourishing life with a stoma

Today i am joined with Beth, 37 years old and has been living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis (IBD) for the past 11 years whilst owning a beauty salon. Then over the past 2 years I have had 4 major surgeries and am now living with a stoma, but her dream is to share her story, experiences and advice to help others going through the same journey. In 2018 Beth closed down my salon, reduced my number of waxing clients and then launched her own organic vegan skincare brand! After living with IBD symptoms my whole life in 2009 she was extremely ill and finally got diagnosed. Despite being on daily medications and high strength steroids, Beth continued to suffer for 10 years until finally in 2019 I had a surgery which got her large bowel removed and she was fitted with a stoma. Three surgeries later Beth is thriving with a permanent stoma and her life has been transformed! Beth reached out and said...
