WHAT IF THEY DON'T WANT TO LISTEN? In this episode, I talk about the challenge of initiating meaningful conversations with teens as it relates to motivation, especially in the face of resistance. I believe it is POSSIBLE to nurture growth and belief in the next generation by: Understanding Motivation Leading by Example Providing Value Teaching Self-Inquiry AND Embracing Discomfort As parents, teachers, caregivers, family members, coaches, and mentors, it's our responsibility to nurture belief and motivation in the young adults around us. Remember, incredible things take time. Keep planting those seeds, and trust in the transformative power of belief.
