What this episode covers
Please visit the KnitBritish website to enjoy the full shownotes with links and images. I'm thinking a lot about strength and significance of the knitting traditions, communities and knitworthiness of today's stories. We meet our woolly mucker Alison Mayne, who is a doctoral researcher in crafting experiences and of online communities. I ask her our Woolly Mucker Questionnaire, but we also talk about her interesting studies, which i know will resonate with lots of us. I also talk about the BBC Alba film Geansaidh a Phàpa/The Pope's Eriskay Jumper and bring you an interview which is very much connected to that. I met Shona MacLellan at SW2015 and she was involved with making this programme and also is making an Eriskay gansey herself. There is also a review and a giveaway for Renee Callahan's Zen Variations, thank you to Renne for that. Get on over to the Ravelry group to enter that and also discuss your remakery plans!
