Episode 83: Abuse In Schools and Troubling Stats

from The Speaking Out on Sex Abuse Podcast · host Jimmy and Clara Hinton

Several years ago, a study showed that 3.5 million 8-12th graders in the US report being sexually touched by an adult. Most of those adults are teachers. If we include adults who show pornography, exchange photos, or masturbate in front of students, that number jumps to 4.5 million. There is a very big problem in our schools, and it has not gotten any better. This episode begins a series on abuse in schools and what we can do about it.
