Episode 83 - The unexpected path to purpose with Kendall Flutey

from Baskets Of Knowledge · host Prajesh Chhanabhai; Tane Whitehead

As a young person our guest this week speaks about how when the time came to leave school to go to university she just did what she thought she enjoyed and was the thing to do and off she went. She did well in her chosen course of study but also used her time at university to explore other interesting ideas. The shift that our guest speaks about happens when she went into the corporate world, which was a fantastic space for her with amazing people, but the career path this was leading down did not sit well with her and her search for purpose. Making a brave choice to quit her job, with nothing to go to, Kendall, embarked on a journey. A journey that brought her back to something she remembered she enjoyed at school, tinkering with computers. This journey, the mentors along the way, the questions along the way, the rule breaking along the way has lead her to now be the Co-CEO of Banqer. This is a fabulous conversation about how knowing when to listen to your gut, there is an interesting way to get to your purpose.
