This was one of the most fun conversations I’ve had in some time. New Jersey native Christian Zeron will tell that he’s “old to watches, new to hunting”. The luxury watch dealer recently went on his first duck hunt which subsequently led to a full-blown immersion into the outdoor lifestyle. Next thing he knew, he was trading in his Ralph Lauren cashmere sweaters for the latest high end hunting apparel from brands he couldn’t even pronounce. Then came gun purchases and his first international hunt (dove hunting in Argentina). I have always said that social media is a double-edged sword, does the good outweigh the bad? Most of the time I’m not sure. However, when Christian randomly popped up in my algorithm, I knew on that day, social media was a good thing. Being along for the ride as he embraced a lifestyle (that he admits was always calling him) that he knew nothing about has been one of the most wholesome and rewarding things I’ve seen in 2026.
