Episode 84: A Lifetime of Lymphedema

Olivia was born with Lymphedema, and she is sharing her perspective on mental health as it relates to her chronic illness. This weeks guest host was featured here earlier this year when I read her blog post “The Monster on the Playground”. Her message was clear, that as a child, she made to feel less than, ugly, and like an other from those around her. Doctors appointments left her with low self confidence and a sense of not being worthy of love.
