Episode 84: Guest - Carolyn Brooks-Collins on "The Morale Booster  with Dr. John Ughulu." Carolyn Brooks-Collins is the CEO of M. Carolyn-Brooks Collins, LLC,  and the founder of Women of Purpose Coaching Network.   She is passionate about helping to empower women to transform their  lives, step into their purpose and become financially independent.   She understands that many times women defer their dreams and goals  due to other life challenges and priorities. Carolyn is here to  encourage people follow their dreams. She believes no matter your  age, or past experiences, you can still accomplish your dreams and  leave a legacy. Prior to launching her career as a motivational speaker, she trained  as an accountant and has over 30 years of diverse leadership and  management experiences in accounting, audit, project management and  sales. Her knowledge and skills include internal controls, process  improvement, risk management, fraud investigations, fraud risk  assessments and fraud awareness training.  She has a strong knowledge  of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), GAAP, GAAS and COSO.  She is also a strong proponent for leadership development within  organizations and has spoken nationally on several platforms on the  topic of finding your purpose. She is a Certified Speaker through  Power Voice program, developed and taught by the legendary  influential motivational speaker, Mr. Les Brown.  She is also a  graduate of the Proctor Gallagher Institute’s “Thinking into Results”  program, under the coaching and leadership of Mr. Jon Talarico, as  well as a graduate of the Pathbuilder’s Percepta Women’s Leadership  Development program in Atlanta, GA, where she currently resides.   She serves on the Boards of two non-profit organizations and  maintains her professional licenses as a CPA and Certified Fraud  Examiner (CFE).
