Is your child a special needs child? What rights does your special needs child have to a public education? Did you know that a federal law, the I.D.E.A. (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) demands that All children identified as eligible for special education are entitled to a free and appropriate public education (FAPE), in the least restrictive environment (LRE)? Did you know that all children who are diagnosed with: Autism, Deaf-Blindness, Deafness, Emotional Disturbance, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Disability, Multiple Disabilities, Orthopedic Impairment, Other Health Impairment, Specific Learning Disability, Speech or Language Impairment,  Traumatic Brain Injury and Visual Impairment including blindness, are eligible for special education services under Chapter 14 of the Pennsylvania Special Education regulations? Do you know the types of services available to your special needs child under Chapter 14 of the Pennsylvania Special Education regulations?
