The model also includes an X-15 spaceplane signed by Fighter Pilot, Test Pilot and astronaut Joe Engle who actually flew the X-15 and was part of the Apollo Space program and commanded two space shuttle missions. They also discuss the embarrassing confirmation hearing of Joe Washington, the White House nomination (aka diversity hire) for head of the FAA who know very little if anything about aviation and the recent decision by Nellis Air Force Base to move Aviation Nation to April instead of November in 2024.
