Sara managed to 10 pounds by doing this. And then, in October of 2018, she happened to see a segment on Dr. Oz about OMAD, (one meal a day). She decided this was something she could do, and posted on Facebook that was going to give OMAD a try. In December of 2018, she officially began IF.A year later, she has lost around 55 pounds, going from a size 3X pants to a size medium. She has also noticed a great deal of body recomposition. Instead of a goal weight, she has a goal size of 8, sharing that eventually she will put the scale away. Sara followed the LIFE app for a long time, tracking her fasts, but found she no longer needs the it. Instead, she simply listens to her body.Sara's husband joined her in IF about a year after she did. Sam had Type 2 Diabetes and some heart issues. Sara presented IF to his doctor...his doctor was open to IF. Sam has lost 60 pounds, and is off insulin, as his A1C has gone from 8 to 6 in only 3 months! His Type 2 Diabetes is being healed with IF.Sara's advice she'd give to new IFers: "Take before and after pictures and inches. Take a picture of your face, which can be the biggest change! Share without fear. Follow the Facebook groups, and follow Gin."Share your intermittent fasting stories with Gin:[email protected] Gin on Twitter@gin_stephensConnect with Gin on Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/Gin-Stephens-370557866639779Read Gin’s book Delay, Don’t DenyListen to Gin on the Intermittent Fasting Stories podcast:Intermittent Fasting Stories on iTunes    See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
