They've built to their biggest show ever, the closed circuit special Super Sunday. It's Hogan's last chance. It's now or never. He has to win. But he doesn't. It's one of the biggest turning points in pro wrestling history. What if Verne and Hogan had been able to work out a deal? What if Hogan had stayed? What would the WWF have done? How far could the AWA have gone? It didn't all turn on this one night, but this whole year was the AWA's chance to strike first in the looming national war.
