Welcome back to The Lawcast! This time our hosts cover Raw is War from May 10, 1999. It's the Raw that drew the highest viewership in history, with a stunning 8.1 rating. WCW Nitro was preempted for an NBA Playoff game on this night, so the WWF was unopposed. They proceeded to put on a wild show of crazy matches with a main event of Steve Austin, The Rock, and Vince McMahon against The Undertaker, Triple H, and Shane McMahon. Plus we discuss the passing of Ted Turner and preview WWE Backlash.

Episode 854: AWA Super Sunday '83
Welcome back to The Lawcast! This time our hosts go back to cover the AWA's big moment, it's Super Sunday '83.The AWA is red hot. Hulk Hogan has been chasing Nick Bockwinkel's AWA World Heavyweight Championship for a full year. He's the biggest sensation in pro wrestling. They've built to their biggest show ever, the closed circuit special Super Sunday. It's Hogan's last chance. It's now or never. He has to win. But he doesn't. It's one of the biggest turning points in pro wrestling history. What if Verne and Hogan had been able to work out a deal? What if Hogan had stayed? What would the WWF have done? How far could the AWA have gone? It didn't all turn on this one night, but this whole year was the AWA's chance to strike first in the looming national war. And then Hogan slipped through Verne's fingers.Plus we talk about all the current wrestling news.

Episode 851: Clash of the Champions VI: Ragin' Cajun
Welcome back to The Lawcast! This time our hosts cover the NWA's Clash of the Champions VI: Ragin' Cajun from April 2, 1989. 1989 in the NWA is one of the most tumultuous years of any promotion in history and this might be the low point. Booker George Scott ends up getting fired for the disastrous failure of this show, which drew less than 5,000 fans in the Louisiana Super Dome and drew the lowest rating of any Clash of the Champions to date. That all happened despite the show being headlined by Ricky Steamboat defending the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Ric Flair in a Two Out of Three Falls Match that was one of the best matches of the year. The show also featured The Road Warriors defending the NWA Tag Titles against The Varsity Club, The Midnight Express vs. The Samoan SWAT Team, Junkyard Dog vs. Butch Reed, and more.We also discuss this year's Wrestlemania's highs and lows. CM Punk and Roman Reigns had an epic main event. Oba Femi became a star with his victory over Brock Lesnar. On the downside the Cody vs. Randy Orton match was more or less incoherent and featured far too much celebrity involvement. And the entire show was dragged down by the sheer number of ads.

Episode 850: Wrestlemania XL
Welcome back to The Lawcast! This time our hosts go back to cover Cody Rhodes finally finishing the story, it's Wrestlemania XL!It's just two years ago but WWE feels like a very different place. Dwayne Johnson finally returns to WWE to get the match he's been dreaming about for years against Roman Reigns. But the fans want Cody, and they won't be denied. So Rock channels his anger and frustration into creating The Final Boss, one of the greatest characters in wrestling history. And we're set for an epic two night Wrestlemania. Plus we discuss Darby Allin winning the AEW Championship, preview Wrestlemania, and discuss AEW Dynasty.
