Episode # 86 Born to Lead and Compelled by Love with guest speaker, Micah Marshall

This podcast is all about encouraging you in various ways and you are all in for a treat today! Have you ever thought about being a leader or perhaps you already are a leader in some capacity! I heard this quote years ago, “Be the kind of leader, that you would want to follow”. That might be easier said than done which is why I felt led for you to hear from one of the people I have learned so much from! I can see that this person is a true leader as a husband, in his church, and within today’s culture. I want you to pause and think about who you are leading today? Who calls on you to lift them up in their day, ask for advice, listening ear, help them, make them smile? Maybe you’ve shown leadership in your day to day, impacting another person’s life because you’ve treasured the life that you impacted and in your own way —- you have made a difference! As a leader, or by showing leadership qualities, you may not be able to see the fruits of your labor, whether it’s in the classroom —-- at home —- on social media —- or in your community, which is why I want you to know that your leadership matters! YOU MATTER! Today, Micah Marshall is going to unfold what’s important to him as he leads our youth and all generations today! Micah is the executive director and founder of the incredible organization called, Refugee Youth Network. Micah touches on points that are grounding, challenging, and inspiring. He urges us all to be so compelled by God’s love and to live that out not by judging others or dividing others but by building bridges through asking questions and building authentic relationships. He stirs up the heart of it all —- that there’s only one you in this whole world and that you matter so much to God that He placed you here on this earth for a God given purpose. I have no doubt that Micah will rally us all —- even if don’t feel like you are “born to lead,” into posturing our lives and challenging us all to become the leaders God has meant for us all to be! Also don’t hesitate to take some notes, because there so many great treasures to take note of in this encouraging conversation!
