Episode 86 One Crazy Pope
from Peculiar Pairings Podcast Hosted by Matt Ditter and Celine Williams
Have you ever heard of a Pope putting another Pope on trial? What about if one of those Popes was dead? This week we cover exactly that with the year long papacy of Pope Stephen VI. We take a dive into how he became pope and one of the craziest things ever done by the pope during the Holy Roman Empire. Our pairing this week is the body of Christ (A ritz cracker) and the blood of Christ (A red wine of your choice). Preferrabley the cheaper the wine, the better with this pairing. --- FOLLOW US --- Instagram: @peculiarpairingspod X: @peculiarpairpod Gmail: [email protected] Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/peculiarpairingspodcast YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9kyZ61HBs0W6cHwejheuAQ
