Episode #86: Pitching for the City - Rougarou

from The Patty-G Show · host Patrick D. Gremillion

This week on The Patty-G Show, we are circling the bases and hoping to knock it out of the park as we sit down with Ricky VanAsselberg, owner of the Baton Rouge based baseball team, Rougarou. We had the pleasure of learning the ins and outs of sports teams and how Ricky got started with his career. Starting out as an athlete himself, he quickly discovered the entrepreneurial itch was alive and well within his system. After noticing a need for a place for people to go before or after games, he opened his first restaurant right across the street from a ball park. After spending a few years moving around and going where his career would take him, he ended right back here in Baton Rouge, LA after what he thought would be his retirement, only to now go back into baseball, but as an owner. We chat about so much more in this episode, we hope you enjoy. If you are enjoying the show, we'd be forever grateful if you would share the show with your friends and let us know who you think should be our next guest!
