EPISODE 866: Stand Your Ground

Ephesians 6:13: "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” Ephesians 6:11 said, “Put on the full armor of God?” We see that same phrase again in this verse, which means clearly, it’s very important. Again we are now told two times to put on the “full” or “complete” armor of God. Remember, you need to put on the full armor, not just a few pieces of it.  Why do you need the full armor of God? “So that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” Without putting on the full armor of God, you won’t be able to withstand the evil attacks that come your way.  Satan will do anything to stop God’s plans in your life and it’s your job to use the tools given to you to stand your ground when the attacks come.
