Episode 87: Catherine

from Intermittent Fasting Stories

In this episode of Intermittent Fasting Stories, Gin talks to Catherine from Houston, TX.This episode is supported by Dry Farm Wines: Gin has finally solved her wine dilemma by switching to Dry Farm Wines for good! If you are looking for organic/biodynamic wines that are lab tested to ensure they are sugar free, lower in sulfites, and contain lower alcohol, go to dryfarmwines.com/ifstories to start your own subscription to Dry Farm Wines, and get an extra bottle for just one penny in your first shipment!Catherine is a stay-at-home-mom, and has an in-home bakery business. She heard about IF from her best friend long before she began fasting herself. Catherine told herself at that time that "IF was not for her," and she could "never go that long without eating." The turning point in her life was in January of 2019 when she saw a picture of herself that she did not recognize. She immediately ordered Delay, Don't Deny and began IF that month. She started at 18:6, and has not gone a day without fasting since! Catherine has lost around 60 pounds and is focusing on feeling great instead of a pants size. She and her best friend started an IF support group of their friends in Texas, and it has been a wonderful way to cheer one another on! The health benefits she has experienced happened quickly: her eczema cleared up, along with her skin smoothing out. She looks ten years younger! Within six months of IF, she was off of her anti-anxiety meds. Catherine's husband also joined her in IF, and found that it helped with his ADHD. The advice Catherine would give to new IFers: "Find what works for you, which can change. Don't overthink IF, because it then becomes a "diet". Focus on your health, not just a pants size or scale weight." Catherine has a better relationship with food. And after countless years of avoiding mirrors, she confidently sees a new and healthy woman looking back at her!Share your intermittent fasting stories with Gin:[email protected] Gin on Twitter@gin_stephensConnect with Gin on Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/Gin-Stephens-370557866639779Read Gin’s book Delay, Don’t DenyListen to Gin on the Intermittent Fasting Stories podcast:Intermittent Fasting Stories on iTunes   See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
