Episode 87 - Everything will be okay in the end - With Nikita

from Crohn's and Autism Awareness Advocate · host Mason Milne

Today I am joined with Nikita who has Crohn's disease she was diagnosed when she was 10 years old. She talks about her journey with Crohn's disease, we say that it's okay to diet whatever you want Crohn's and IBD isn't just diet based, Nikita can't really eat vegetables you could eat chips but unable to have so called "healthy food" we talk about healing, that you can't really heal that is what medication is for to help symptoms. We both talk about our Journey's a whole food, drink, A&E experiences that people in the IBD community shouldn't be in that service as have Crohn's isn't an accidental injury and that's what A&E is for and about. We talk a lot about why we advocate and Nikita shares her stoma called Stomy and soon to added Stomy 2.0. A great conversation with Nikita.  Great quotation right here: "Everything will be okay in the end and if it's not okay then it's not the end" Spoken by Nikita a great piece of advise too.  We hope you enjoy this awesome episode! Thank you again Nikita, hope you enjoyed your first ever podcast!
