Episode 88 - “None of it made any sense. It was all fluff.” [Wonder Woman 1984, Soul]

Happy New Year! In the 88th episode of the Extra Buttery podcast, Jason and Robert wrap up 2020 with the holiday releases. Unfortunately, most of it came with capital-D Disappointment and a side of unbuttered popcorn. We begin by questioning the decision to include L__ S______ in the season finale of The Mandalorian (2:08, Wookiepedia time: 11:44) before moving onto even more curious screenwriting decisions in Wonder Woman 1984 (19:18). George Clooney made another snoozer in The Midnight Sky (37:49), but Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (47:34) will certainly give you a violent jolt.
