Episode #89 1930s Sci-fi 'Alas, All Thinking' with Anthony Trevino and Langhorne J. Tweed
from Postcards from a Dying World · host David Agranoff

In this episode, we cover 'Alas, All Thinking' by Harry Bates most famous for writing the story that inspired the Day the Earth Stood Still. Originally published in the June 1935 issue of Astounding Magazine, a young Philip K. Dick considered this one of his favorite Science Fiction stories and a major influence on his writing.
