Passed in the infancy of the world wide web, Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act has been called the “26 words that created the internet.” On February 21, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Gonzalez v. Google, the Court's first case about Section 230 and the immunity it confers on providers of interactive computer services.
