Episode 9

from South By SouthEast · host Southbysoutheast

Carlos Luna is a local from the SouthEast Side of Chicago (Slag) who served in the US Navy. He is a Human Rights, Community, Veteran Activist who fought until people listened! Carlos has met and discussed Veteran policies with Washington's politicians (such as Bernie Sanders and Senator Tammy Duckworth to name a few) in hopes of shedding some much needed light and awareness to a bismal Veteran treatment, lack of resources and care. He also has his MA in Community Psychology from DePaul University, Chicago. Just a local kid making big waves by any means necessary, Carlos continues to fight for our communities, our health, wellness and our Veterans! We are a local podcast based out of the SouthEast Side of Chicago and cover a wide range of places, people and events in Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
