Episode 9 Bianca Knight Olympic Gold Medalist, World Record Holder, and Philanthropist

from Companions of the Compendium · host Ryan Joseph Banta

It was my distinct pleasure to have a great conversation with Olympic champion and World Record holding sprinter Bianca Knight. We discussed the rapid rise to track and field stardom. She took us through her transition from amateur to professional ranks. Bianca talks about the importance of being true to yourself and how sometimes the solitary pursuit of world-class athletics. She and I discussed what it takes to be a great coach to athletes pursuing Olympic greatness. We then dove deep into her favorite training sessions and how her training was laid out within a microcycle. She discussed the sessions as a coach she would implement. We discussed the importance of building training for the event and the unique athlete you are working out. Bianca educates us on her new App BK Trackstars. Through this App, she hopes to improve coaching, the love of sport, and enhancing training through a community-based effort. Through her efforts, she will be raising money for qualifying programs that can use a boost in their efforts to continue the great tradition of track & field at the grassroots level.  To follow Bianca on Twitter visit: @MsBiancaAK To download the App visit: https://www.bktrackstars.com/ For elite performance technology please visit: https://store.simplifaster.com/sku/83/ To get your copy of the Sprinter's Compendium visit: https://store.vervante.com/c/v/V4081803315.html
