Anyone in the Philadelphia area who watches Flyers games recognizes his voice. Jim Jackson has spent the last 30 years as the play by play broadcaster for the local NHL team. He talks about getting a degree in Broadcast Journalism in Syracuse to boost his chances at having a career in talking about sports. It took a successful collegue telling him that he'll "never make it" to motivate him to fufill his dream.
