Welcome, everyone, to another episode of the Room 14 Recovery Podcast and today we have a special guest joining us. She's not only a close friend, but someone I've shared a unique bond with - a bond forged through our experiences with alcohol and the patterns of thinking that came with it. Despite our many differences, we've found strength in our shared journey towards recovery. Our guest is fellow member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Carrie confessed that she used alcohol as a way to deal with life. Spiritually sick and scared to death to be outed, she feared the “painful process” of recovery. The day she walked into the rooms of AA she found a “door of hope”. Please welcome Garrie G. I butchered the intro and Carrie was such a great sport in the LIGHTNING ROUND. Thanks for helping to show that "we aren’t a glum lot”. THANK YOU to all of the people that have listened and are supporting me in this journey. Wherever you listened to this show, please give us a rating and feel free to comment on this episode to help me get better delivering this program. If this story might relate to someone in your life, please refer it to them! Maybe it will help them ask for the help they need. I’m in Nebraska and the local Alcoholics Anonymous hotline is 1-877-792-1044. The national AA crisis line is 1-800-839-1686. Anyone who needs suicide or mental health-related crisis support, or who has a loved one in crisis, can connect with a trained counselor by calling, chatting, or texting 988.   Live your life with joy and reach out for help!   As always have a great day!

Explicit Guests Room Guest Guests Room Podcast is where I sit down and talk with my friends, up and coming artists and entrepreneurs. With todays social norms and social media becoming the popular avenue for creators and artists to promote themselves and their work, I personally feel that you truly don’t get to see who the real artists is and its all about the image, the money and the success. With Podcasting and this particular platform I will be able to sit down with these creators and artists and talk about pretty much anything and just be ourselves, I wanted the podcast to not be an interview of the guest, but wanted to capture the true essence of the conversations and let the guest be who they are and to let the fans listen into the conversation and relate to the struggles we all face going through life but also the success we share.
