Episode 9: Charles
from The IWS Podcast Hosted by Inspire Wellness Solutions
This episode was speaking with Charles, a Black mental health therapist who has been utilizing much of his experiences growing up and the traumatic situations he has gone through to uplift and help heal many brothers and sisters in the community through his clinical practice and in the classroom. Charles has a unique approach of not only working as a clinician but also as an educator at his alma mater in the Psychology department and also collaborating with others in the field like The IWS Podcast. Charles' lived experiences growing up without his father playing a present role consistently throughout his life, challenges with a firm and headstrong mother, and choices he made throughout his youth have played a strong role in why he operates the way he does today and many young and older people can relate to those types of experiences. #theIWSPodcast #inspirewellnessolutions #Blackmaletherapists #Blackmentalhealth #Blackmenmentalhealth #health #lmhc #mentalhealth Buy a Boba Tea: https://ko-fi.com/inspirewellsolutions Donate to Support the Channel: https://cash.app/$inspirewellsolutions Important Note: No advice, guidance, or any part of this discussion would be considered therapy and is only for the purposes of engaging in a much needed dialogue regarding mental health.
