Episode 9: Ghosts
from The Three Film Egos Hosted by Three Film Egos
All through October we'll be discussing the scary and macabre and otherwise Halloweenish, starting here with Ghosts. Isaac's pick: Empire Of Passion (Nagisa Oshima, 1978); Clayton's pick: Carnival Of Souls (Herk Harvey, 1962); Ryan's pick: Ghostbusters (Ivan Reitman, 1984). Tangents include: period piece authenticity, the works of Nagisa Oshima, the Saltair pavilion, inauthentic instrument playing, and dialogue scavenger hunts for the purpose of drinking.
