Meet Logan Alcosiba! When Logan was only 15 years old, she bravely shared her truth - that she was a transgender woman.Fortunately, Logan’s announcement was predominantly met with support. She would go on to become her city’s first openly transgender athlete, ASB President, and Homecoming Queen - one of the first for California. And during high school, Logan was medically transitioning, breaking down barriers in transgender healthcare. She became the first known minor of Kaiser Permanente to be approved for and undergo gender affirmation surgery, allowing future youth similar opportunities.Today, Logan is a model, represented by agencies in Los Angeles, New York, and London. It is Logan’s mission to achieve better representation for all, including transgender women of color. So that one day, it will no longer be necessary to come out.
